Our gallery has moved from The Old Print Room venue in Dorset. We’re now based in Frome and will curate shows under the name Mount. Our new workshop has no dedicated gallery space*, instead we plan to find interesting venues around Frome for a nomadic program of pop up gallery exhibitions.
Read our series of posts about our past exhibitions in Gillingham: Biophilia (group show); White Heart (group show); Water, Air Luminosity (Jason Miller solo show), Netted in a Silver Mist (Paul Newman – artist and Jill Harris – writer).

We’ve now opened our arts services business in Frome. Pop in and see us at Silk Mill Studios. There are no exhibitions on currently, but we’re discussing our first Frome show at the moment (“What Remains”).
We are keen supporters of art in our community and frequently attend exhibitions, events and promote opportunities for artists. If you have an exhibition coming up, tell us about it. If you’re interested in collaborating with us in curating a show for Mount, contact us via our website.
You can keep up to date on a daily basis by following our twitter account.
We will organise an ad-hoc programme of exhibitions and events. The first of which will be entitled “What Remains” and will explore ruins in all their forms. Check back often for news.
*Our workshop space:
We operate comprehensive arts services: picture framing, giclee printing, graphic design and installation. We have a lovely consultation area where clients can sit down with a cup of tea and talk through their needs. Though we have no dedicated gallery space in our workshop, one wall of our consultation area shows a small selection of work, some of which is for sale. Currently we have two original graphite drawings by Frome-based artist Paul Newman for sale.
We won’t just post about our own exhibitions, we’ll use this space to talk about art in general, what our friends and associates are doing, as well as features on artists, including interviews and articles. If you’d like to be featured on our blog, get in touch.
Follow our twitter for frequent news about opportunities, such as open submissions and arts competitions, links to other artists, events and also Frome/ Somerset lifestyle.
