Frome picture framer, Mount offers a range of high-quality arts services, including picture framing, dry-mounting, digital scanning, giclee printing, and graphic design. Specialising in design-led framing, we handcraft our frames using high-quality archival materials. Alongside our archival range, we also offer alternative framing methods and materials for cost-effective solutions.
Here are some of the exciting projects we’ve worked on:
We’ve framed quite a few of Gary Cook‘s amazing Infocanvases, exhibited as part of Dorset Arts Week. Gary’s work is in many private collections.
We made this fab lightbox for a primary school (the windmill is their icon). This stained glass panel was made by a parent of a student at the school.
We’re a fan of Edward Chell’s Soft Estate and enjoyed framing two of his large works for Karina Joseph (Field Gallery)
Hannah Carding, artist and illustrator based in Frome.
Ceramic pebble artist, Claire Mahoney.
Photographer James Ravillious.
This amazing stained glass by Silk Mill artist, Jenny Raggett looks great framed and with a lightsheet illuminating it.
A canvas by Amanda Bee in a beautiful white painted semi-ornate moulding, handfinished.
We printed and framed a series of 6 beautiful photographs by Simon Richardson. Framed with black walnut under AR glass. Printed on 300gsm cotton paper.
Lovely painting by Selena Ogilvy, currently showing at Bruton Art Factory
This black and gold ink screenprint was framed under AR glass and looks super!
This batman poster was great to frame. The grey moulding really suited the image. Anti-reflective (AR) glass really set this off so well.
2015 was THE year for Back to the Future fans, so we enjoyed framing this awesome poster using AR glass. Very fly!
We framed this amazing graphite drawing of a raven by Paul Newman using anti-reflective glass to fully show off the play of light on the bird’s feathers; something that risked being lost under reflective glass.
The O3 Gallery in Oxford showed some our Jennifer’s work, which was of course framed here at Mount.
Mount donated 24 frames to Frome’s mayoral chain exhibition. This is an exhibition of David Partner‘s photo series of Frome town mayor wearing bespoke mayoral chains. Simon float-mounted the photos in a contemporary frame. Exhibited at the Silk Mill gallery April 17-21st. https://www.facebook.com/events/437129816454117/

We framed four of artist Victoria Collis’ works for her exhibition at the Cheese and Grain in Frome.

We bought this amazing screenprint by Julia Pott from our neighbours at I Dress Myself. Float-mounted in a contemporary oak frame.
